The Background is a darker shade of red in contrast to the neon pink in Mania, and the Metal Sonic fight features the iconic red thunderstorm travelling overhead in the background (Though the lightning itself cannot be added yet).įor objects, enemies themselves are relatively unchanged, and are mostly the same and without the cracks and signs of wear common in Bad Future Badniks. Small details, including the busted Horn objects, broken pipes, and worn out speed rails, all make a return. Rather than a full on reskin, Stardust Speedway Bad Future actually ports some of the original tiles from Sonic CD. Note the new red pallete in the background.
It is also unique for featuring custom animated tiles and 'readding' Eggman's laser beam from the original fight, which was absent in mania. Stardust Speedway Bad Future is a reskin of Stardust Speedway Act 2 by Axanery, designed to make the level resemble its Bad Future Design from Sonic CD.
